Central Park Miniature Window for Alison Lou

I was able to showcase Alison Lou's fine jewelry at their flagship store in The Mark Hotel, located at 994b Madison Avenue. I recreated a miniature version of Central Park for the display, weaving in Alison’s whimsical and iconic pieces. I curated the jewelry for the window display and even incorporated a few archival pieces, such as the snowcone pendant and daisy bangle. I handmade a snack shop cart with my father, carefully cutting metal and plastic, attaching wheels, and adding a fabric covering. The snack board features Alison’s food-themed stud earrings, including the best-selling croissant stud. I crafted pigeons, squirrels, and rats from clay and paint, while the garbage bin is a repurposed candy dispenser I transformed using nail polish. Tiny newspapers and magazines were printed and scattered throughout the scene, adding realism. The dogs, trees, and bushes were sourced from miniature doll shops to complete the display.

Alison Lou x Caviar Kaspia Miniature Window Display

The renowned Parisian restaurant Caviar Kaspia opened its first location in New York at the Mark Hotel in February 2023. Having Alison Lou’s boutique located just two doors down made for an evident collaboration. The duo teamed up to create a jewelry capsule collection featuring six brilliant caviar-inspired styles. Inspired by the pieces and the restaurant I recreated a miniature landscape.
